Welcome! To the first post in a little series I dub - Lipstick Lockdown. This is basically my way of providing a very very short review of my lipstick collection using a colour scheme. Most likely though, I will do a more in depth review of each lipstick in due time. Today's focus is on my favourite, not so favourite and in between orange toned lippies. I should note that some colours look a little different in real life; so for this post, the closest I could get to the actual colours is the last image.
Starting with my favourite of the bunch is (right-bottom, at the 4.30 mark) and going clockwise:
Lancome Rouge In Love in Corail In Love 322M
Oh how I love the Rouge In Love range; if I could buy them all I would, but the price tag is enough to make me cry. Corail In Love is no exception to the tear inducing factor. I've only worn this twice on special occasions as I can't wear heavy lipsticks until I finish my Accutane medication (curse dry skin!), but both times they left my lips in wonderfully coral-pink stupor, and definitely lasted more than 5 hours without eating. I love that these are marketed with a very realistic 6 hr full wear, it's refreshingly honest. So yeah, this ticks all my boxes for a fantastic lipstick with a wearably beautiful colour, reasonably long lasting, doesn't dry out lips (I need lip balm 24/7 so this doesn't count yet), and doesn't settle into fine lines. Now if only I could get them for some price that's less than a steep AU$47.
Revlon Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya
This is my most used out of the bunch. Pretty sure I've used it everyday for a few weeks once, it's that good. I'm sure you've heard enough about the amazing qualities of these lip butters so I shan't bore you with the same claims. I love it as it is great as an everyday colour that is sheer and moisturising.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Satin in Charm
Although I do love/like (loke?) the Revlon Balm Stain range, I'm actually not a fan of this one. It gives me an odd-in-a-bad-way tint and really settles into fine lines. I mean, really. Why do I even still have this? Idk.

Sportsgirl Pout About It in Orange Crush
I used to love Sportsgirl Lipsticks for their fun and flirty range of colours. The formulae need working on though, more on that later. Orange Crush wore very well and applied as a very bright true orange but it faded so quickly into a light wash of icky stuff after about 3 hours. Recommended for the beginners in lipstick for a bargain buy.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Matte Balm in Audacious
If you didn't already know, I love my extensive Revlon bunch and the matte balms are probably amongst the best matte lippies I own. Audacious is a lovely orange coral that has very good staying power, however it can be drying as per most matte lipsticks.
