Here is the second last installment of Lipstick Lockdown, today featuring the pink and nude shades that I have. I must admit, I'm not a nude lip fan and not really a wearer of pink shades either. I very much prefer my 'nudes' to be on the 90's end of the spectrum, but some of these were just so pretty, I couldn't pass them up. The last part of Lipstick Lockdown will be entirely berry hues, and that is where the majority of my love goes. Oh, woe to my wallet.
As always, let's start with the black tube at 12 o'clock.
Sportsgirl Pout About It in Pretty Please
Admittedly, one of my favourite nude lip colours with a lovely wash of peach-pink. What I like about the formula is that is s so much more moisturisng than Sportsgirl's matte lips. At AU$10 I recommend these lipsticks for any makeup starter.
Sportsgirl Pout About It in Strawberry Fields
Ohh lordy, this is so beautiful. The shade is a bright pink with relatively neautral undertones which look so lovely on all skin tones. However the main con of this is that it is matte, and quite drying. For those with dry lips though, steer clear.
Revlon Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon
I don't think I need to say much about this one. I adore the Revlon Lip Butters and this shade imparts a bright but sheer wash of pink onto your lips. Great for sallow Asian and olive skin tones.
Australis Go Long Wear in Boho
When I'm done with my Accutane treatment I will be hopping all over matte lips. Boho has a great 90's vibe to it with the mauve-nude colouring. This is also one of the most long lasting lipsticks I own.
Revlon Creme finish in Blushing Nude
Another light 90's nude with a slight moistursing formula. I don't wear this enough.
Revlon Shine finish in Pink Cognito
I kind of hate this shade. It is such a light nude that washes out my light/medium skin and makes me look like a dead person, even with the micro glitters. Doubt this would look good on anyone. I don't know why I still have it. Oh right, the tube is too pretty (part of the more recent Marchesa and Revlon collaboration). I believe what I should do is swap the lids of another one and give this one away.
Revlon Creme finish in Rum Raisin
Probably one of my favourites in the Revlon collection. Rum Raisin is pretty much the quintessential 90's girl brown-nude lipstick. Love the formula and the colour.
Revlon Creme finish in Teak Rose
This is my go-to everyday lip as it isn't entirely nude, but has a wonderful dark rose hue that just makes me look like a professional work woman - an essential for when I go to interviews or courts.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm
Honestly, I don't ever use this lip cream. I don't know whether it's the annoying doe foot applicator or the fact that I don't like NYX as a brand in general, but I never reach for this even though the formula and colour are great. It is very similar to Blushing Nude on the lips, slightly more hydrating.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Elusive
Sigh, another lovely matte lipstick that I have to wait a few more months to actually wear. I really like this soft pink hue, it should be very flattering for many skin tones.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Charm
I have already included the mini review for this in the Lipstick Lockdown featuring orange lip products. I am not a fan.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey
I don't know how I feel about this. It has a nice stain but it just doesn't last longer than two hours for me. Half disappointed would be the term I guess.
So there you have it. Please stay tuned for the last installment of Lipstick Lockdown! Love you all xx
